Situated somewhere between 70s Earth Wind and Fire, 80s night drives, 90s Sega Genesis sessions on Saturday mornings, and early 2000s shopping at the K-mart on the other side of town, this album is pretty much exactly what I imagine when I hear the term "future funk". An absolutely fun, surreal and groovy listen!
