Chaos Orb 02:22
I hear a voice that speaks to me But that’s not talking, it is crying Crying in a sea of misery and despair To the campaign it is calling A demon speaks a prophecy And that’s real to me A battle scene turns to a bloody scene And that’s real to me I guess you’ll never know What it’s like to fight To live and to die Only the chaos orb knows why I see a hand that waves to me But that's not waving it is drowning Drowning in a sea of misery and despair To the campaign it is crawling
3.
With the beast they came laying waste To those that bear the name in haste A flame breaking up the peace From air the beast Flying overhead the dead corpses of the cultist priests Evermoor is alight Protect the helmet inside When wild hordes did attack Never coming back They came, laying waste to those that bear the name In the air A beast is flying overhead The bodies of the cultist priests Is Evermoor still alight?

On a Friday night, when the DM says it’s time to fight He never lies He invites us over we walk inside We did not know what lurked inside But it’s drawn to the light Guess the time is now because the time is right The drider dies tonight What does it mean? Found the cape and the crown from a fallen queen I guess she split the scene Cuz she knows the drider is too fucking mean We did not know what lurked inside But it’s drawn to our light And the time is now and the time is right The drider dies tonight When the DM says “roll for initiative to see if you live or if you die because the drider can barely see.”

Magic Pact 01:48
Dark energy forced from a druid’s creed A chance to dodge defeat (so roll your favorite 20-sided die) Save the maiden, destroy the aberration with a spell attack (so roll your favorite 20-sided die) It’s not the first time won’t be the last And there’s countless dangers we can make it past This may all end up for nothing But I’m holding on to something That is why we signed the magic pact To my magic makers with spells of every nature A fire bolt (a surefire attack) Try an acid spell it might work as well as a poison cloud (from your hand or from a magic staff)
6.
Go Time 03:14
The werewolf’s a wizard with a curious mind He says “It’s go time” He says “go time” No time for go time You gotta try and survive when it’s go time The horror, the battle The sound of death rattle Means go time I said it’s go time No time to go time You gotta try and survive The fight for life Because a monster waits for no man The time is right Don’t wanna make a saving throw again Whoa Whoa The werewolf’s a wizard and completely untamed He says “It’s go time”
7.
The Journey 01:48
We are strong And we don’t belong We traveled through the night Just to fight a horde of blights It’s not easy We are one But we are many We seldom do what’s right But we tried not to fight Behold the beholder And then we uncloaked a cloaker The dragon queen is in sight We are strong And we don’t belong Our last fight Was the death knight It’s never easy
8.
We were thinking That today we’ll play We call the others So let’s set up a game Cuz each session We get together We wish that they’d last Forever, and ever and ever…
9.
How many times has the DM said you’re not in play I’ve been dodging you for so long I should be on my own When was the last time I saw your villain face? Now you’ve got me holding on to a mimic in a treasure’s place I should have known He put you back in my home What a fool I’ve been Hello, old friend Mimics attack!
10.
Owlbear 00:07
Oh my God What do you see In a cave Or in a tree? Owlbear! Owlbear Owlbear Get out!
11.
So the First thing that I did was grab my magic cloak And the golden scepter I found upon the throne Standing on the ruins with a spellbook in my hand Carefully awaiting I let the darkness rise again I cast darkness (I cast darkness) I cast darkness when I’m dying I cast darkness just to save myself The last thing that I did was drop my magic cloak But I kept the golden scepter I’d taken from the throne As I incantated and the spell came from my hand I carefully awaited I let the darkness rise again
12.
Witchroot 02:29
The Spellbinder is keeping a witchy man’s spells Constantly awaiting his clientele The mandrake is shrieking From a magic spell Homunculus is rising, born from many realms Go Go Grow Grow Can you see what comes to life right before your eyes? Finding it’s duty As it leaves its shell Silence ain’t beauty When it’s a witch’s spell Make a potion lose control From the ground and the magic soil Go Go Grow Grow Can you see what comes to life right before your eyes? The Mandrake cries
13.
Anthem 02:30
We fight just to avoid a TPK If we die, then it was a big mistake There is no honor in death We just wanna see you dead When you roll the dice that means it’s time to fight So roll your fight dice Roll fight dice Roll fight dice Roll your fight dice

Be transported to another realm with Fight Dice, Milwaukee's fantastical music collective that merges heavy post-punk sounds with the epic narratives of your favorite role-playing game. Featuring veterans from beloved bands The Promise Ring, Maritime (Dan Didier - drums), Braid, and Hey Mercedes (Todd Bell - bass), Fight Dice has captivated audiences since 2022 with its tight, high-energy stage show.

The band’s dungeon master is the charismatic vocalist Jay Gilkay, formerly of Evel and Celishrine. Guitarists Brett Schwandt from Celishrine and Eric Arsnow from Tigernite and Devils Teeth transport listeners to a new realm with a touch of metal. Fight Dice is a perfect backdrop for epic battles and lively parties. Whether you're a die-hard D&D fan or simply a music lover, Fight Dice's unique blend of post-hardcore is sure to resonate, capturing the raw energy of combat, mythical creatures, and heroic adventures.
Fight Dice’s debut album, “Total Party Kill,” is a nod to the total elimination of a questing group in D&D or how the band’s music might impact a modern-day social event. This 26-minute experience of neo-stoner and noise punk is set to be released in September 2024 on Forge Again Records, and the band is scheduled to play a variety of venues throughout the year. Fight Dice is ready to bring their unique, unabashed sound to a stage near you. All hail Fight Dice!
