Laridae co-founder Firnwald finally lands at Camomille with some exceptional work. His new opus 'Steinrab' reads like a collection of coordinates; these 11 pieces seem like poetic notes scribbled in a traveller's notebook as each of his footsteps impose a wavy erraticness to every line he pencils. Wind brustles through the trees it sends chills up and down our spines as we start to marvel at the eerie yet comforting fog up ahead. Stefan's work is meticulous as he articulates these scenes with a succession of damp, murky ambiences that slowly open up to calm, whimsical melodies and idm percussions, like dust flickering through light. Steinrab ist ein Hof im Chiemgau in dessen Nähe 1906 bei Ausgrabungen elf Hügelgräber aus der Hallstatt Zeit um 450 v.Chr. gefunden worden sind. Diese Elf Grabungen wurden mit römisch I - XI gekennzeichnet, wobei es sich bei XI um das einzig erhaltene und als "Grab auf einem Hügel" erkennbare handelt. Die zehn anderen sind im Laufe der Jahre eingeebnet und teils verschollen.
Die elf Musikstücke des Konzeptalbums "Steinrab" mit sollen diese elf Grabungen widerspiegeln und sie unter einen neuen neutralen Kontext setzen. Um eine bessere Verbindung von Musik zu Ort zu kreieren werden die Musikdaten in ihren Titeln geogetaggt und mit Bildern des dortigen Waldes verbunden.
