The bitrate is retardedly low - 6 Mbps. That's barely above YouTube's bitrates for their 1080p videos.
Secondly, this season 15 release is on two BD50s. The first disc only takes up 25 GB and the second disc takes up 15 GB.
They could've just fit the entire thing on a single disc, saving themselves thousands of dollars in replicating costs to manufacture the sets and saving us the annoyance of having to swap discs. The two discs together only use up 40 GB of capacity.

I know it's animation, and simple animation at that, so it requires less bitrate, but still. I don't know how comfortable I am with a Blu-ray release that utilizes a bitrate that is 1/3 the bitrate of the standard American HDTV channel. I know Comedy Central in the UK originates as MPEG-4 and broadcasts at a bitrate of 10 Mbps. This Blu-ray release actually has a lower bitrate than the airings on Comedy Central. That's sad.
