...This is a great under-appreciated horror title, with a really creepy atmosphere to it (like The Changeling in that respect)

Another MGM horror title crossed off the list.

Is anyone keeping tabs of how many MGM horrors released on DVD are still awaiting an upgrade? There can't be too many left now, especially as we know more Price films are coming.

Im sure there are still quite a few.. there are still some *Midnite Movies* that havent been announced but are coming

There also might be more Cannon / MGM titles.

I know more Price titles are coming, I feel certain Bubba Ho Tep is coming.. there are the Species movies .. there are still a few highly sought after MGM horror titles out there, that hopefully are coming

I have been wanting this title on BLU for years. Sounds like it will be worth the wait! a new 2015 remaster.

Absolutely faboulous news! It is still like a dream... after Scream and TT said they wouldn't release it and with Kino saying it would take extensive restoration, I started to lose hope so I cannot express how excited I am

Having seen this when it first came out in 1976, I think that this will be one movie that will hold up better in memory than in actuality.

While not having seen it since the theater, I did some research - ratings not really that high on IMDB or RT. Not sure that I would recommend a blind buy.

It scared me when I was 7 watching it on TV, but I saw it a couple of years ago and thought it was both terribly acted and pretty cheesy. Worth it for those who love it, but if you're coming into "new" and aren't from that era, it's really not a very good film at all. I thought it was more unintentionally funny than scary as an adult.

This is great news! I saw BURNT OFFERINGS for the first time a few months ago on TCM and really enjoyed it! Over the weekend, my girlfriend and I attended a David Cronenberg Retrospective in Calgary, so when we watched Oliver Reed in THE BROOD, I had mentioned that I'd love to see BURNT OFFERINGS make it to blu-ray! That was a fast response!
