So, looks like there are some major framing differences between the DVD and the new Blu-ray (Super35? Wasn't this made for TV? My hair was blown back when I saw 2.35:1!)

Blu-ray:

Image quality on the BD, framing questions aside, is stratospherically better than the DVD.

That must be the LionsGate DVD (fullscreen). The MGM DVD was 2.35:1. Wonder how that matches up? I already sold my MGM DVD or I'd grab a pic to compare.

Yup. Honestly wasn't aware there was another option. But, again, I don't remember this ever going to theaters; wasn't it made for TV?

If I remember correctly, it was released in theaters internationally. I remember watching it on Netflix a few years back and being (pleasantly) surprised to see it in widescreen.
