Google Play currently has Elf (2003) in [SD] for free.
They are also running some holiday deals on select movies and TV series. Xena: Seasons 2-4 $4.99/season...oddly enough Season 1 is not available at all though. Eureka: Seasons 1-5 $9.99/season Heroes: Seasons 1-4 $9.99/season I genuinely hate the way Google displays prices on movies and TV series where you have to click on each item to see the 'own' price vs the 'rental' price. Is there a setting to change that behavior? Last edited by AZBrowncoat; 12-22-2013 at 05:07 AM. |

I am a huge Will Ferrell fan, but Elf was one of the wors movies ever made, utter garbage. Causes actual pain watching it.

Does google play stuff play on ... anything else?... it's not UV compatable or something is it?...
Just asking (I already have ELf on Blu...) I don't have anything from Google play yet and don't see the need for another service. -Brian |

I bought the Chrome Cast to stream from Xinfinity's website to my tv but the video and audio would skip frames and drop audio a lot. So I returned it to Best Buy since I already have a Roku 3 and PS3's for streaming. It worked fine for Netflix and Google Play since it has native apps for them.
