So thi should be the OFFICIAL FOX release that will feature the OFFICIAL extras and extended episodes unlike the canadian release right ?

The Canadian version only has the US HISTORY broadcast version

Tried playing in Season Mode and Play Episode (for the first episode) and the episodes appear to play as the same episode.

However, please note, I am pretty sure we are getting the extended episodes and not the broadcast.
Three reasons:
1 - The broadcast eps normally have a previously on and are generally shorter, running around the same run time every time. The eps on the discs vary in run time.

2 - There is a commentary on Episode 7 that is also featured have on the US discs (that contain both TV and Extended cuts), and the commentary is only on the extended cut in the US, hence, we would have the same cut (extended).

3 - In that episode, there is a short scene (marked my chapter markers), that shows a body with a severed head and three heads on pikes.. The History Channel normally cuts violence that is very graphic.
A short chapter also occurs in the first episode that refers to a sex act, that would also probably have been cut from the original broadcast.

On another note, with Season 6 coming out next week in Australia, I am actually pissed off that it seems we don’t get a Blu-Ray “exclusive” slipcover (which I have been collecting, that was sometimes with Sanity, then went back to JB).

I see the DVD still has a slip in the same vane as the slips I have been collecting.
Fracking shame that down under DVD is still the go to physical media.

Bought Season 6 • Volume 1 today that states “All episodes are extended international versions”.

Unlike Season 1 - Season 4 Volume 2, they stopped doing both cuts with the Aussie releases (and it seems to be the same with the US).

And in line with Season 5 Volume 1&2, there is only 1 cut of each episode (For Season 5 Volume 1, checked with Movie Censorship.com (comparing what is on the Aussie disc with the report) and the eps are definitely the “Uncut” versions: https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=949243

However, unlike Season 5’s two releases, with Season 6 Volume 1, the back cover specifically states: “All episodes are extended international versions”
