I got the hood, the grille, the front bumper, and the radiator.

Now I am off to eBay to find some Bondo®, some black spray paint, and some Prestone® real cheap.

@Viking64 , good idea but your plan is flawed. Where on earth will you find the paint?

    That's right!
Danged stuff is harder for modern humankind to make than papyrus - or the F-1 rocket engine.
    :#
So, I don't know about papyrus, but I think the reason that we cannot make an F-1 any more* is because engineers don't dress like that any more...

It is because the F1 was designed with actual human brainpower and ingenuity, slide rules and willpower. Today's engineers can't think beyond their next Starbucks order without a computer telling them what to do.

Another reason is that after Jesse's mom and dad made him, they were scared shi@le$$ and vowed to break the mold.

Thanks for that correction. I was, not surprisingly, too lazy to check the precise recipe they used.

You gotta hand it to those darn Irish: their pilots have the most handsomest uniforms (as these commercial pilots for Aer Lingus depict here)

Ñote: Contrary to popular belief, 'Aer Lingus' does NOT refer to a part of the female anatomy.

So cute, a truck hugging a tree. Someone needs to tell that driver that that's not the way to make your vehicle green.

I do hope the driver and any passengers are ok

    Makes me sad… 😢

Maybe the driver was a total a-hole, maybe he wasn’t, but some bad decisions were made. What a waste of a new truck, not to mention the insurance premiums that can only be imagined following this incident on the driver’s record.

Such a young tree too… you think you’re tough in your big truck? Not so much, apparently.

No obvious signs that any attempt at braking was made, either… 😬

I believe we can rule out that truck was NOT built Ford tough......

How do we know that the truck wasn't peacefully parked alongside the road when it was viciously attacked by a rogue tree ? 🤔
I think that we're all jumping to premature conclusions before the proper authorities have had the opportunity to tell us what to think 🤔
