It be great to have a place to get ears gear. In my noobish mindset the warmth of the 200.2 would complement an all digital set up.

I like the the idea of a the 307 but not ready to throw my 200.2 out of the mix for this rig. Also looking for usb input. Narrowing in on a used Cambridge Audio Dac magic plus or new Emotiva pt 100. Thoughts?

I don’t have the historical reference to the Polk line so I just looked these up. Those are cool with a built in Sub. Seems like a bargain for someone.

My concern is I am on my phone a lot for work and the lightning ds app has been hanging lately. I would rather have a knob to turn down should a call come in. I could could get a iPad to manage but at that point I might as well by a proper pre or as Tony suggested an older processor.

Good suggestions here on older processors for 2 channel. Any love for lexicon? Tube integrated sounds fun but that rabbit hole intimidates me.

While the 35 was detailed it just seem to be lacking the dynamics of more traditional centers with larger drivers. At low volume in scenes where actors where talking quietly or whispering I struggled to hear even with the settings at +6. I did not try the 30 but would think with the larger drivers it would perform better.…

What about the Parasound Halo Integrated. It has ht bypass, sub control . 160 wpc at 8 ohms and 240 at 4 ohms. A bit over budget but would meet your requirements.

Regardless of which one you choose I would refrain from placing them on a bookshelf. They need to breathe. No experience with the T50s but recently picked up pair of used S20 locally for around a hundred bucks for the GF. I was very impressed with them and they were being powered by a modest receiver.

Congrats on the 703s. I have had mine for a couple of months and they just keep getting better. I moved my 60s into the closet and used the 703s in hybrid ht/2-channel system for awhile and really enjoyed them.
