Yeah I think you are right.

I’m confused. So are you saying that the streamer doesn’t support MQA natively but MQA can be streamed to the unit through AirPlay? I thought AirPlay had limitations that would not support MQA?

Wow what karma. So very generous Doug. Congrats Milito.

Hey Loren. My thinking always cost me🤔 FWIW I have enjoyed my Douglas connection Bravo ICs.

There support outstanding. service@parasound.com

John, I’m sleeping much better knowing that you are keeping this. I was wrestling with my decision.

Picked one these for my ex gf and paired with some Signature 15s not a bad little unit for 2 bones. https://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/yamrn303bl/yamaha-r-n303-2-ch-x-100-watts-networking-stereo-receiver/1.html

I have been seriously contemplating this but reading the user manual it recommends an Ethernet connection for high resolution files and I am limited to wireless.

BTW welcome to the forum we can really help you spend your money. Going on 3 years in this hobby I still consider myself a noob. There are many members that have forgotten more than I will ever know about this hobby. As far as tone controls, I think the mindset behind not using them is to hear the music as it was recorded.…

If you The 60s will be much better for music and perform really well with movies. I had the A7s and sent them back too bright for my ears for music. The RTi series is great for home theater but the Signature series is better for both. I have had 60s for a couple years and love them. They are also easier to drive. As far as…

Glad to hear it’s only a pulled muscle. Cars are much easier to repair or replace than backs.

Sending you a PM

That’s a very generous offer. I may take you up on it at some point. You are in LA?
-
I know. I jumped in 2016 with the RTi series seeking advice and ended up with s60s and 703s and a bunch of other gear but yet to get some SDAs. I guess I am a new school Polk fan though I am old.

Loren. Sorry to hear about your wreck. Get a lawyer and document everything. My experience that when it rains in SoCal people just can’t drive and everyone is distracted by their phones bad combination.
-
I don’t need this but tempting.
-
I really hope this is not true. In my 2 year tenure I have met some really great people and received so much good advice and knowledge. This site sent my audio journey down the right path. Honestly if I hadn’t discovered this site I would have traded my first pair of Polk’s in for another brand but now own a couple pairs…

I agree with rooftop59 the Yamaha Aventage is a nice piece. I have had mine for 2 years and no complaints. Marantz and Denon get kudos around here as well. If you can afford to extend yourself now you will end up saving yourself down the road.

Echo the Signature series or LSiM series.

Thank you sir. Slightly modified by removing the back panel for ventilation except for the area behind doors. I agree and have had it where the AVR is and should switch it back. It would sound best on top but it’s a little too tall and I think I would need longer ICs. Thanks for the suggestion.

That's a cool looking Oris. I hear they make a great watch. I have been eyeing Tudor’s for awhile curious what soured you on the GMT?
-
Okay speaking for myself.

Yes but this man has learned a Happy wife is a Happy life. Some of us are slow learners😆

To give you/her a idea of what the 703s look like on stands.
-
I have the 60s and 30 as my front sound stage and they serve me well for ht and 2-channel, wonderful speakers. I also have the 703s in another system and think they are a bit more musical. I occasionally rotate the 703s into my ht-hybrid 2 channel rig and the 60s into the dedicated 2 channel and really like them both. I…

Agreed on keeping the 55s much more musical than the A7s. Knowing your budget as well if you are okay buying something used or not will be helpful.

Excellent write up and review.

Ok, that would be great.
