Music Editor
Home Town: Newton, MA
First Concert: The Beach Boys
Andrew Silver has worked on over 100 films during the course of a thirty-year career. He was one of the first music editors to join Modern Music in 1993 and transitioned to Formosa Music in early 2014. He is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema and plays piano, occasionally composing whenever possible. “I think my approach to temping is always to focus on the story, and to try to have the music externalize the characters’ state of mind. Music can deepen and add to a scene, strengthening a director’s vision and enriching the experience for the audience.”
