BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA CO. (WOLF) — The Bloomsburg Fair continued today, filled with family friendly entertainment, delicious food, and organizations raising money for a great cause.
“All the proceeds go towards the mission of the church. And we try to help our community, we try to be a great presence there,” said Pastor Scott Kuhnle of Black Creek United Methodist Church.
“We do three or four breakfasts a year and all the net proceeds from the breakfast go to help people in need in our community. All that money in the tip jar goes to help people in need during the winter, like sometimes people need help heating their houses or getting their car fixed, and they can't afford it. So, we have a mission team that reaches out and helps people like that,” said Kuhnle.
The Sugarloaf township church has had a stand at the fair for 69 years.
The festivities continue tomorrow. Check out the FOX56 booth at Gate 8 for a chance to win some prizes and meet members of the team.
