Matt is involved in all aspects of the investment process in the U.S., including sourcing opportunities, evaluating investments, and executing deals. As a senior investment analyst, Matt also works to explore new investment themes and to connect founders with valuable resources across the Flourish and broader fintech ecosystems.
He joins Flourish Ventures from FT Partners, a sell-side investment banking firm vertically focused on the financial technology sector. In his role, he was primarily responsible for producing fintech research and evaluating new mandates – with a particular tilt toward the banking technology, alternative lending, and proptech spaces.
Matt studied at Northeastern University, where he was heavily involved with the campus entrepreneurship ecosystem and cooperative education program. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in business administration and a minor in law & public policy.
