@Pamputt :, it seems to me that here should be another sense. "Process of measuring the dimensions" There is one in my Fr-Rus dictionary. Hi Nataraj, I think the meaning you are looking for is th third meaning: "Résultat issu de la quantification d’une donnée." It is not exactly similar to the "process of mesasuring" but I think the process itself and the result of this process are often confused (mainly if I read the examples).
