Nothing like grandma's cooking

As a lifetime Realtime artist, I wanted to play around with some pre-rendered stuff, so I decided to create this little quick nostalgic peace from my childhood. Originally I wanted to make it hyper realistic, but to avoid the "arch viz" feeling, i decided to stylize the colors. It was a great fun to play with Arnold and Megascans a little bit. Goal was to make it a little warn and aged but keep it warm and inviting, turned out to be a pretty big challenge not to over-do the ware and damage…

My grandmother, Vovo Costa, taught me how to have patience with food, how to be in the moment at the stove, how to see stirring as meditative. Lessons I still use daily.
