This past weekend, we celebrated my nephew and I really wanted to show the reality of the cost breakdown of materials alone when doing these kinds of setups. This is JUST cost of goods purchased to make everything (I made everything except the felt banner). Experience in skill and tools (inflators, glue gun, etc) not included. So here we go!! 🌵Foamboard Backdrop: $50 🌵Balloon Garland: $25 🌵Cake Pedestal: $46 🌵Felt Banner: $8 🌵Balloon Cactus: $40 🌵Balloon Mosaic: $25 TOTAL COST OF GOODS: $194 I’m pretty sure I forgot something haha! Aside from that, I didn’t include glue sticks ($10), the glue gun ($20)I already had, the 2 different inflators ($1,600) I used, the balloon base ($55) for the cactus I owned already, Xacto, cutting mat ($70), etc etc. In total, I probably spent about 10 hours making and putting everything together. I also I have a stock of balloons in different colors so I could pick and choose and not have the cost of full bags for each color used!! 🎈 Do you DIY or hire a professional?!? | Lilly Roman
