Hand-crafted in Continental Europe in the 19th c., rectangular solid pine case with dual hinged handles at sides, hinged lift-top with unique dual push-lock closure, opening to reveal an interior fitted with various tool compartments, accessory hooks, and removable tray, likely for carpentry tools, the chest exterior with remnants of original paint finish and nicely aged distressed patina.
