This gorgeous barn star is made of repurposed railroad spikes. It comes with a hand forged hook, also made of a railroad spike. The star hangs from a sturdy strap made of real harness leather we get from a local Amish harness shop. The star measures about 18" from tip to tip so it is sure to be noticed! The star and hook come painted black photo for years of rust free enjoyment indoors or out. We can also ship unpainted stars upon request which will develop a rusty patina. We work with a local Amish harness maker, so the leather length will vary and may be black, brown, tan or red, depending on what other orders he was working on. We make these up as they are ordered, so we currently have a 2-week shipping estimate on all hand forged orders. We're also happy to do custom work upon request. All our hand-forged metal work is made with a coal fire, anvil, hammers & other hand tools, just as a blacksmith would have used years ago.
