Nothing is better on a cold day than a warm bowl of stew in your hands. This classic beef stew is a stand alone dish—one pot to cook tender chuck roast with all the veggies.
Ingredients
Meat
• 1 (3 pound) chuck, roast
Produce
• 2 Bay leaves
• 7 Carrots, large
• 4 Celery, ribs
• 1/4 cup Flat leaf parsley
• 5 Garlic cloves
• 1/2 lb Green beans
• 1 Onion, large
• 2 sprigs Thyme, fresh
• 4 Yukon gold potatoes, small
Canned Goods
• 2 tsp Beef bouillon
• 8 cups Beef stock
• 2 tbsp Tomato paste
Baking & Spices
• 1/4 cup Ap flour
• 1 tsp Black pepper, freshly cracked
• 2 tsp Kosher salt
Oils & Vinegars
• 1/4 cup Olive oil, extra-virgin
