This is a tiny orchid which you can hardl7y see standing up. Caladenia cairnsiana or Zebra Orchid is found in the far south of Western Australia. Photo taken in the Stirling Range National Park, Western Australia in 2012.

Zebra Orchid (Caladenia cairnsiana)
Zebra Orchid (Caladenia cairnsiana) is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. It is a perennial, deciduous, herb, usually found in scattered groups or sometimes in clumps of more than ten. It has 1 or 2 flowers on the end of a stalk 15–30cm tall. The flowers are green-yellow with red markings. Flowering occurs between late Winter and Spring. It grows in sand, laterite or loam in forest, woodland and heath.
