We used an offcut of one of our favourite types of lino, this hessian backed brown lino, to create this mini cat print for #tinyprinttuesday. Printing Process Oil-based water washable relief ink is applied with a brayer to the block, and the print is hand burnished, using a glass baren and a bone folder. Block size: 5cm x 5cm, printed onto mulberry paper approximately 8.5cm x 8.5cm. #linocut #linocutprint #printmaker #printmaking #print #linoprint #reliefprinting #linograbado #linogravu...
🐻 Almost two years ago, we created a series of bear prints, which included our ‘Cosy Morning’ print. With one of the wettest Mays on record, we were inspired to create this crow, ready for the wet weather, with matching Wellington boots and a rain poncho. It reminds us of those ponchos you could get from Disney World when the heavens would open. Since the inception of the design, the weather has improved, but we still wanted to share this multi-block print...
