Driving past a huge fire in the hills in the Peak District & really craving this album. It’s always been my favourite album by the band, but coming back to it today after seeing the fire & the romantic sensibility of the growing state of the natural world makes this album ever more so valuable & eloquent in today’s society. It’s a beautiful release 🖤

Dans The Density Parameter, Mesarthim reprend tous les ingrédients qui font leur marque de fabrique : des pistes assez longues au rythme énergique (très palpable sur "Recombination" par exemple) et jouant sur des structures cycliques, un chant qui erre parmi les étoiles... Les ambiances sont prolifiques mais elles changent la donne : gracieuses, certes, mais surtout plus mélancoliques qu'autrefois. The Density Parameter est un peu la dernière bouffée d'oxygène que donne la combinaison spatiale.
