Some time around and before covid, my dad helped me host a minecraft server (at my request) on a VM in one of his servers. It got a lot of use from me and my friends, and it's one of my favourite past projects.
A couple of years ago I bought a used dell poweredge r720 to fulfil my hosting needs, but unfortunately, due to... reasons... it never worked out long-term at that location for hosting anything public.
I now live somewhere different, and can host on a public IP with no issues, so have got back into self-hosting. First off, this website was moved from neocities and I bought the domain freja.moe (which I love! the moe TLD does actually come from the japanese word!)
