Kloke is someone who I've felt deserves a lot more attention on his name than he is getting currently. I collaborated on "Foundation" with him on the first Meeting Of The Minds release and it's probably one of my favourite collaborations to date. I enjoyed working with him so much that we then collaborated on a full release for T3MPO and then when he sent me his next Fresh 86 release, I had gotten into gear with planning main label releases and knew I had to get a full EP out of him.

First tune off the release is Tuff Luv, this is the kind of tune that I say represents Kloke's style to the fullest, rich & confident melodies and musicality over the top of flowing and filtering breakbeats.

Anyone that's seen me playing a set recently may have heard Bliss Machine being played because as soon as I heard that tune, I knew that I'd made the right choice in Kloke doing a full release. The sounds in this tune are so clean and it's got such a wicked aquatic stomper kinda vibe and then when that breakdown comes in, absolutely spine tingling, I had that tune on loop for nearly an hour when he sent it to me!!!

I wanted someone to remix Tuff Luv and I asked Kloke who he would like to remix it and he suggested Kid Lib, who did a wonderful job turning Tuff Luv into a tougher mix with hard hitting bass and bruckout drum patterns, whilst still retaining the floaty melodies of the original

Wrapping up the EP with Future Dayz, loving the mystery & ominous vibes on this one, it's the kind of tune I wish I had made but thankfully, Kloke has made instead! :)

Thanks to Kloke for managing to sort this EP out whilst dealing with a computer crash and thanks to Kid Lib on his version of Tuff Luv.
