Fantastic listening from start to finish. From beautiful cozy melodies, through more trancey middle part to the more rough ending. Love, jazzy drums on "Tao", and harsh drums on "If Nymph" whitch both reminds me of skee mask, and Nathan Fake-ish type of melody on "Rise&Shine" is beautiful. Cant wait for more! Ďakujem!

about
Silent Letter is a music project produced by Czech artist and teacher Pavel Jestřáb. He is also known as techno DJ and producer Paul Hawk. For a visual artist, that he also is, it is another tool how to capture content in different way using music. The project does not keep the rules of individual categories and styles, but creates an alternative genre fusion using elements of post-dubstep, glitch, downtempo, drum and bass, house and others framed by the author's emotional inner world.
"The album Lava was created after number of exhibitions and art projects as a natural switch - from the role of visual artist to the role of musician.
After reaching certain age, I realized that I don't think only ahead, but that I look unplanned more and more back. Memories and the past are naturally present and being recontextualize. The album is thus, to a certain extent, a personal timeline connected with specific experiences offering a wide range of content readings inwards and outwards. That's important for me. It is slow and fast, straight and broken, melancholic and cheerful, friendly, aggressive and sensitive, like life is."
