Richard Bona, a Grammy winner and one of Africa’s most celebrated artists, has been one of my biggest inspirations since I first aspired to be a musician. I've studied his work closely for years, and his influence has stayed with me to this day. To now share and merge our creative visions bridging past and present while honoring the song’s rich heritage is a true milestone in my career.

Working on this record alongside the golden voice of Africa, Salif Keita, whose original vocals were recorded in 2003, adds an emotional depth I can hardly put into words. I hope you all enjoy it.
