Use case

Indicating that you can remove an item from a group, move an item to another group or move an item to that group.

grid-2-plus already exists to indicate that you can add an item to a group. These would complete the set.

Icon request checklist

  • The title starts with "Icon request: " and is followed by the requested icon name
  • This icon does not represent a brand
  • This is a single icon or matched pair (Ex: lock / unlock)
  • The request is for a concrete object, or I've included an example image
  • I have searched for existing issues and to the best of my knowledge this is not a duplicate
  • I have understood how requests work

Hi!

Thanks for being part of the Font Awesome Community.

Your request is legit, but please keep in mind that in a web application it is possible to create the requested icon by using power transforms, masking, and layering features of the JS+SVG Framework.

Demo: https://jsfiddle.net/tagliala/2s78abqk/41/

Heads-up! Pro customers can also implement this icon with the Icon Wizard

These icons are not a blocking issue for me.

Feels like they could be a helpfull and simple addition though.

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
