Many times I have happened to look for objects to use as a unit of measurement to count the heights Y or the horizontal position X, it would be advisable to activate a kind of unit of measure for the level, which measures the height Y and the length X of the level, whether horizontal or vertical.
I mean a help that can be activated within the visualize menu that acts inside the work area of the level, on the left with notches or strips, like those seen on the meter, and which divide each height Y, if placed on the left, and if placed in high to measure the X block positions.
This, with some larger line, could measure every 16 X blocks to make it clear whether or not we can use that area according to the size we would also like to use to do our calculations.
The lines or notches, should be numbered and scrolled together with the level, should work a little like the meter, and instead of counting the centimeters with longer lines it should count the divisions into activable blocks of the level, such as 16,32,64 etc., and this is the same in height Y if the vertical level is activated.
It should help along with the grid if you have both enabled but with a separate feature from the grid view.
I would like to add that it would also be useful if it was possible for each line or notch to activate with a click the display of a dividing line that marks the whole level, horizontally or vertically using those horizontal lines use the grid to mark each border of height, if we are talking about vertical divisions or horizontal divisions if we are talking about length divisions.
This would be useful, together with the lines or notches that move with the level, to help understand some boundaries that we want to visualize immediately, for example, by setting the right display of the height I am interested in finding in order to always have it available and clear to the eyes, I could for example visualize that point that I often look for, the precise point is, counting 12 decimal positions visible from bottom to top that is the boundary of the level used when the level is blocked in the vertical scrolling of the game frame visible during the game, it is possible that when the level scrolls vertically only if Mario flies that he uses that border to know where it is right to put the clouds, beyond that line of course, but there are other awareness and ways to change the level that does not make sense speak, I gave only one example to make it clear for what purpose it could be useful, for example I currently use x-block oi extended woods to measure which part, it makes no sense to measure like this, it makes more sense to have such an instrument, it could also be used to see the heights of exits from Mario's tube to get an idea, and much more.
