Description
- accept new firmware over CAN
- not require GPIO to activate (eg don't use the BOOT pin)
- verify application code before executing
- support board-configurable default GPIO states. Ex if a device is active low enable, we need to hold a pin HIGH during bootloader. Can't just tristate everything
