Reference the free preview BACnet Standard 135-2020. Clause 12. MODELING CONTROL DEVICES AS A COLLECTION OF OBJECTS starts at page 162 and describes the objects and their properties in detail. The primitive value objects (Analog, Binary, Multistate, CharacterString, DateTime, Bitstring, OctetString, Time, Integer, Date) can be used for general applications, but some objects are application specific (i.e. Loop object, Schedule object, Calendar object, Lighting Output object, Lift object, Escalator object, Load Control etc).
Because there are some objects and properties whose meaning and possible uses I don't quite understand.
