HTML5 Video Ads Manager based on @dailymotion/vast-client

This SDK supports:

  • VAST versions 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0+ up to 4.2 (included) - Complies with the VAST 4.2 specification provided by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
  • Inline Linear
  • Wrapper
  • AdPod
  • Tracker for VAST tracking events
  • Media Types (Assets):
    • video/mp4; codecs=“avc1.42E01E, mp4a.40.2”
    • video/webm; codecs=“vp8, vorbis”
    • video/ogg; codecs=“theora, vorbis”
    • video/3gpp; codecs=“mp4v.20.8, samr” (Safari)
    • application/javascript (VPAID)
  • VPAID 2.0

Pre-bundled versions

Browser script

A pre-bundled version of ads-manager is available: ads-manager.js [minified].

You can add the script directly to your page and access the library's components through the adserve object.

Install

Get Started

ads-manager is available as an NPM package and can be easily installed with:

$ npm i ads-manager 

Using Git

$ git clone https://github.com/basil79/ads-manager
$ cd ads-manager
$ npm ci

Build

To build the project for development:

$ npm run build:dev

To build the project for production:

$ npm run build:prod

This will generate the following file:

  • ./dist/ads-manager.js - Minified browser production code

Run

$ npm start

Then navigate to: http://localhost:8081 in your browser
