The bug

I only use external libraries, never upload using the app.
Whenever there is a new photo added to immich, the mobile app adds it to the latest date that had a photo in the timeline, instead of for example adding a new date for them.
When I trigger a full timeline refresh by pulling down a couple of times, it takes about a minute to rebuild the timeline, but then everything is in the correct date.
This issue doesn't happen on the web, only on the mobile app.
Before refresh:
2023-12-21 11 18 12
Refresh:
2023-12-21 11 18 18
After refresh:
2023-12-21 11 19 30

Any thoughts?

Thank you!

+1 when photos are added to timeline from an external read only library, they appear under wrong dates (date when media detected) until forced timeline rebuild when it gets corrected (exif, date taken date).
Rebuild is getting slower (70k media) and it's a manual operation
