Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open a large mockup (ex: 2200 x 4600 pixels) with lots of text / details in it, in Firefox on a laptop, on Wayland
  2. Use two fingers on the multitouch trackpad to scroll/pan, or with ctrl to zoom in/out

Expected behavior

Everything should be smooth at 60fps+

Actual behavior

Extremely laggy, something like 0.5 to 5 fps, and 100% single core CPU usage.

Additional context

This presumably only happens when using touchpads, I don't remember there being so much lag with a regular external mouse.
