🌊 Hey there! I am an open source community gardener and all-around developer. I occasionally code fun things using JavaScript, but most of my efforts these days are spent in these ways:

Sustain

I help run the Sustain organization. I host the Sustain podcast every week, interviewing open source leaders on what sustaining open source effectively means to them. I also run some of the Working Groups, and help to keep things running behind the scenes all year long.

OSPO++

I'm working on a new network of Open Source Program Offices. As part of this, I host the forthcoming Impactful Open Source podcast, covering open source projects that have changed cities, governments, society, and reality as a whole.

Node i18n

I occasionally help out with the Node ecosystem, for which I serve on the i18n committee. I used to serve on CommComm, too.

FOSS Responders

I built the website and helped organize the FOSS Responders project, which raised over $100k to help out open source projects after COVID cancelled all of our conferences.

Maintenance Mode

I maintain more than a few repositories. Some of the main ones include @k88hudson's git-flight-rules, @lukasz-madon's awesome-remote-job, and others. I serve on the Code of Conduct committee for many projects, especially in the remarkjs ecosystem.
