My name is Brian Barto. I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am passionate about contributing to the open-source community and the free software that it provides. I am most interested in privacy technologies, particularly cryptography and cryptocurrencies. I believe in the possibilities and freedoms that these technologies can provide and I am excited to contribute to projects in these areas.
I have contributed to the bitcoin ecosystem with my bitcoin-toolkit project and have also contributed code to the c-lightning client for the bitcoin lightning network. These are the projects to which I am currently dedicating most of my free development time.
As of now I occasionally have to take a paid gig to help pay the bills. The funds from your sponsorship will help me to dedicate more of my free time to the projects that I am passionate about.
