This is such a unicorn album from Phil…in that it’s just got a different feel than most of his other ones…and I guess because it really does sound like a “band“. Gentle Eyes is one of my favorites, but the whole album is just filled with excellent melodies and very tight playing. I very highly recommend adding this to your collection!

Another killer album by Phil, checkout full circle. The guitar intro is one reason why Phil is so legendary. Also wished you were there is just so energetic and town to town is a classic as well. The drummer is excellent as well, but anyone who plays with Phil is top notch. He’s had always played with great drummers.
