This album is mystical. That's right, mystical, as in communion with a higher power. Ineffably beautiful. No words can fully capture this album. The softness starting at 2:19 of Side A — sure, it's "black metal," but moments like this make Skagos so much more, making the label almost an insult to the depth of this uplifting, transcendent music. And Side B? I won't lie — it brought me to tears more than once. I really love Ást by Skagos as well, but Anarchic carries a hidden force of nature.
