It is beginning to like like every decorating problem can be solved by using pallets. This potting area is a very good example. It is an el cheepo solution to many decorating problems, provides inexpensive materials for anyone on a tight budget, forces those creative brain cells into action, adds rustic appeal, and re-purposes instead of throwing away. Win, win.

So long as your hens are quiet and you keep the coop clean, I doubt neighbors would realize this was anything more than an artsy cottage (though of course I'd paint my shed to match the coop, it looks a tiny bit odd as is).
