Perfumes as Aphrodisiacs?

Can perfumes work as aphrodisiacs? Yes, a good perfume can enhance someone’s appeal in certain ways. There are: naughty notes (like castoreum, ambergris, indolic (aka fecal) florals, etc.); perfume notes with a social message (flirtatious, suave, sophisticated); yummy notes (vanilla, cocoa, jam); and surely the spicy lot (ginger, pepper, chilli, etc.). However, we won’t vouch for that pheromones voodoo. Check the full edit here: https://bloomperfume.co.uk/editors_picks/Aphrodisiac_Edit

Can perfumes work as aphrodisiacs? We get asked that a lot (sometimes in a much more direct way though, with phrases like 'panty droppers', 'a perfume to get me laid, please'). Yes, perfumes can work as aphrodisiacs in certain ways, but we we won’t vouch for the “pheromones-in-the-bottle-hypnotizing-other-sex” perfume voodoo. Onda EdP (Discontinued)
Naughty animalic notes like castoreum, ambergris or indolic florals (aka fecal or smelling of private parts) - such notes stir the subconscious reminding us of certain intimate situations and bodyparts involved thereof. Often these notes lurk under other much safer ingredients (floral, woody, etc) but our brain picks the naughty perfume notes subconsiously anyway. For real ambegris (a precious 'salty warm skin' note) try Onda by .vero.profumo. https://bloomperfume.co.uk/products/perfumes/33
