The Nevada Northern Railway in Ely Nevada, if you've never been there is lost in time. Interchange rail traffic stopped in in the early 1980's but the line and equipment survived. Now operating as a tourist railroad they host many photo charters and a lot of other neat events. An undulating environment of shifting light, the piece activates the entry wall at the top of the public stairway and serves as a luminous gateway in relation to the underground subway and the intense speed of the nearby traffic intersection.
