10min · 4 servings Fried Sweet Plantain with Kahlua Syrup 2 sweet plantain cut into slices • 3 tbs of honey • 2 tbs of brown sugar • 2 tbs of Kahlua liquor 1 tsp of cinnamon Peel plantains and cut into slices and cook plantains in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. In a sauce pan add honey, brown sugar, liquor, cinnamon and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated and smooth. Once the plantains are fully cook transfer to a non-stick pan and add syrup. Cook for 2 minutes over medium heat. Serve immediately. This will pair good with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy😍
