Heart-shaped Jam Thumbprint Cookies | wanna come with?

Adapted from "Thumbprints" from Cookies at Home with The Culinary Institute of America by Todd Knaster. The original recipe says it will make about 3 dozen small cookies, but I got 54 cookies when I made the balls about 1" diameter.

• 1 Egg, large
• 1 Egg yolk, large

• 1 cups Raspberry jam
Baking & Spices
• 3 cups Cake flour
• 1 cup Confectioners (powdered) sugar
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Vanilla extract, pure
Dairy
• 1 1/2 cups Butter, unsalted
