1940's Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring 14K Yellow Gold 3.02ct M/VS1 GIA

This magnificent circa 1940s solitaire contains one (1) round transitional brilliant cut diamond weighing 3.02 carats and set into a four-split prong head. The ring measures 9.4mm at the top, rises 6.2mm above the finger, tapering to 1.9mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank. This ring is currently a size 7. We left the ring unpolished with a lovely natural patina.
