Celebrating a decade of art, beauty and storytelling, MECCA’s annual Holiday collaboration returns with Australian artist Karen Black. Partnering with the National Gallery of Victoria through its M-POWER initiative, the 2025 campaign, Beauty All Around, transforms every gift box, ribbon and bag into a work of art.

Black’s expressive brushstrokes and vibrant palette breathe joy into the packaging, where colour becomes its own energetic language. The result is a collection that feels less like wrapping paper and more like a sweet gesture in and of itself—effectively taking the guesswork out of gifting.

Yu Mei sets up shop in Sydney

New Zealand’s cult accessories label Yu Mei has officially landed in Sydney! The brand’s first Australian retail presence arrives in the form of A Portmanteau in Residence, an interactive, travelling lounge designed by Knight Associates.

Inspired by vintage trunks and the intimacy of a woman’s wardrobe, the installation brings together craftsmanship and modern utility, just like the accessories it houses.

“The Portmanteau embodies our philosophy,” says founder and creative director Jessie Wong. “It carries our world within it—it’s functional, it travels, it grows.”

From the beloved Braidy Bag to the new Utility range, visitors can explore the brand’s full offering, all within a space that feels as warm and layered as the designs themselves. The Sydney lounge, perched at Fenn in Paddington, runs now through November 9.

Tommy Hilfiger drops its Tommy Girl Fall 2025 campaign

Image: Tommy Hilfiger

Tommy Hilfiger is feeling nostalgic, but never stuck in the past. The new Tommy Jeans Fall 2025 campaign, complete with a coveted Tommy Girl capsule, revives the brand’s ‘90s iconography through a distinctly modern lens.

Shot by Clara Balzary and styled by Margherita Moro, the campaign unfolds across New York’s boroughs with an energy that sees subway grit meet collegiate cool. Returning faces include Jang Won Young, Samara Cyn, Lindsay Vrckovnik and Eniola Abioro, each embodying Hilfiger’s ethos of individuality and confidence. “We’ve embraced our heritage of reinventing classics for today’s tastemakers,” says Hilfiger. “It’s about owning your individuality—and putting your twist on tradition.”

The Tommy Girl capsule, which began as a fragrance and has since become a fashion phenomenon, continues to evolve. Still pop, still bold, but now informed by a new era’s rhythm. Denim remains central, of course, but reinterpreted through youthful tailoring, varsity hues, and an insouciant charm.

Chanel has named Nicole Kidman and Ayo Edebiri as its first official ambassadors under Matthieu Blazy’s creative direction.

For Kidman, it’s a homecoming. The Oscar-winning actress, who first embodied the Chanel woman in Baz Luhrmann’s 2004 N°5 campaign, returns as a cinematic icon with an unshakable elegance. “I’m thrilled to be joining Chanel as it begins its new chapter with Matthieu,” she says of the news.

Meanwhile, Ayo Edebiri brings fresh energy to the House: a multihyphenate force whose taste and wit have made her one of Hollywood’s most compelling new voices. “Matthieu and I clicked right away,” she says. “His vision feels both sensitive and joyful.”

Together, they mark a new era for Chanel, which was debuted at the Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris. Between Kidman and Edebiri, the Chanel woman is as wise as she is bold, experimental, and, above all, unapologetically joyful.

It’s always Burberry weather… or so says the British House’s new campaign, Postcards from London. Directed by Shakespeare in Love filmmaker John Madden and starring none other than Olivia Colman—among others—the cinematic series captures the quirks, characters and charm of London life.

Colman shapeshifts through a cast of locals, from chip shop owner to cricket enthusiast, as an international cast of models, including Amelia Gray, Mona Tougaard and Liu Wen, wander the city in Burberry’s latest outerwear. With this campaign, chief creative officer Daniel Lee continues to expand the trench coat’s legacy, exploring proportion and texture with modern flair. Distinctly British yet refreshingly experimental.

Everyone’s go-to makeup brand, Merit, has found a new way to shine. The brand’s cult-favourite Solo Shadow now comes in a shimmer finish, infused with microfine pearls for a soft, daylight-friendly glow. Like the original matte formula, it’s designed for real life—finger-friendly, quickly blendable, and flattering. Just as buttery smooth as its predecessor, the goal is an everyday sheen over club-ready glitter.

And who better to front the campaign of this 90s-style launch than Christina Ricci, the decade’s ultimate anti-heroine? As always, Merit resists excess in favour of ease, proving the power of minimalist glamour with a universally flattering palette.
