Greens best I've seen in a while. Played Apr 22, PoP reasonable at 4hrs with a little waiting on a few holes... we were 2 behind a four-some. Another mid morning round on the Oaks/Creek nines this time in 4.5 hours. Not much has changed since last round other than the greens are in fantastic shape and rolling true. Another mid morning round on the Oaks/Creek nines this time in 4.5 hours. Not much has changed since last round other than the greens are in fantastic shape and rolling true. The greens had hardly any marks and are near the speed you usually get during a round here. The maintenance crew were all over the course on their mowers because it's Wednesday. It's actually nice to play right after the course has been cut because the lies are near perfect and wayward shots are much easier to locate and hit. The fairways are in fantastic condition with a few holes having quite a bit of unfilled divots from the approach yardage. They were nice enough on the second nine to dump a small outing into the fray without notice which slowed up play the last few holes. Definitely recommended

Greens have totally recovered from the recent aeriation and have nice pace, receptive and roll true. Fairways are as nice as I have seen for some time as are the tee boxes. Rough is still inconsistent but improved. They have changed the maintenance pattern in the mornings, and it greatly affects the early morning play, and not positively, but since it benefits the overall cours... » More

Rough is still inconsistent but improved. They have changed the maintenance pattern in the mornings, and it greatly affects the early morning play, and not positively, but since it benefits the overall course condition and playability, it's just something I'm just going to have to deal with.

What a day it was at The Saticoy Club on Monday 4/14 …even ran into AndrewZ28 totally unexpected!

This was our 4th Day After The Masters event and once again The Saticoy Club shined. This time around we went bigger than previous outings showing off the new Vivid Golf tent and putting on a Masters Champion Putting Skill Challenge. Thank you GKers rgm2525, GDR23, barkydog1 and mark_6m for your assistance. I can’t add anything to AndrewZ28 and GDR23 reviews as far as course playability and description. I can however give an outing organizer’s perspective.

This was my 8th event in 3 years at The Saticoy Club and it remains the top experience among our group, which has well over 500 players now. Our players love everything about the course and how they are treated by the club as guests. It’s a special feeling driving up to the clubhouse glancing at the beautiful course that stays with you for your entire visit. It’s a peaceful place with a pure golf vibe.

As expected, the event services are exceptional at this LPGA host course. Full outside services on hand for bag drop and other assistance. Beautiful driving range, practice putting and The Pit (located at the bottom of the hill next to hole 10. The proshop is full stocked and Pancho Grill is conveniently located at turn/clubhouse.

I posted a bunch of fresh photos. The course was in immaculate shape. Never pass up a chance to play here if you can. Absolutely consider joining The Saticoy Club.

Just aerated a few weeks ago so greens are in recovery mode. Sanded and top dressed. Should be good to go in a week or so.

Some of the old greens were diseased and new super had them redone. Repairs look good and should have pleasant greens in weeks to come.

Some of the old greens were diseased and new super had them redone. Repairs look good and should have pleasant greens in weeks to come.

Overall course conditions have been good. Weather being cooperative - the course is looking really good. Fairways having good coverage and lush. Tee boxes were also redone so some of the uneven tee boxes improved quite a lot.

Pace was under 4 hours with beverage cart service going around a few times.

Looking for more fun times as the weather warms up.
