I want to give a big shoutout and some flowers 💐 to @danisgreenhouse for the tip on fertilizer for my struggling baby pictum tricolor Aglaonema last week! You were *exactly right*!!! I went and got some all-purpose fertilizer (not a whole lot of choices on short notice locally but I will order what you recommended online!) and by then, the third to last leaf was fully yellow 😭 I quickly read the instructions and did the damn thing, and crossed my fingers… I’ve been holding my breath, afraid to relax worried as soon as I do, I’ll start seeing that garish yellow again, but I think it’s done the trick! You’re a genius! I’m so so so grateful to you and so happy and grateful to have this wonderful community of plant angels 😇🌿♥️🥹 Seriously, thank you so much. Here it is with its two beautiful, happy leaves! And I’m sure more will come soon 🤗🌿 1st picture is tonight, a few days post-fertilization! The others are last week when it was in decline and I was freaking out! #CrisisAverted #GregGang #Greggers #Aglaonema #AglaonemaAddicts #Fertilizer #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #babevila

So, my #Aglaonema pictum tricolor is really giving me a hard time! I got it as a starter plant about a year ago, maybe like 8 months ago, something like that. Anyway, she has been doing great and consistently putting out new leaves, but the problem is, ever since she bloomed a few months ago (two flowers!), every time she gets a new leaf, she kills off an older one. She never has more than 3-4 leaves at a time and it’s really bugging me! How will she ever grow up to be a lush lady if she only ever has 3 leaves? 😭😭😭 Does anyone have any experience/advice? @UltraKoreanfir I know you have one, do you have any idea what’s happening here? Am I doing something wrong? All my other aglaonemas are thriving but they’re mature. #GregGang #NewGrowth #RarePlants #babevila

Saggy aglaonema tricolor I bought this Aglaonema Tricolor, thinking it would thrive like my other plants. However, I noticed today that it’s looking unhappy. Is there anything I should do to care for it? The weather has been cold lately, so I’m wondering if the issue is due to temperature or humidity. #Aglaonema #aglaonemapictumtricolor

WILD! Two of my #Aglaonema are flowering (well, in the process of making flowers, at least!)! I am stunned because one, my #AglaonemaMaryAnn is in the dimmest spot in the house and although she puts out leaves like crazy and is totally content, I never thought she would flower because she doesn’t get much light. And even crazier is that my little baby pictum tricolor which only has 6 leaves, is apparently putting out 2 flowers right now! Thank you to @LittleSongbird for helping me figure it out 💚🌿 I wish you could tag more than one plant in a post, but here are pictures of the little flower buds. I can’t believe they are so happy they’re flowering lol. It’s exciting! #AglaonemaAddicts #FloweringPlants #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #VariegationAppreciation #PLANTMAFIA #GregGang #babevila

Yellow Leaves I'm following schedule perfectly but her leaves are yellowing. I've had her since May and she barely grows. Any thoughts?

Well, here it is. The Aglaonema Pictum Tricolor in bloom. Not too impressive. The plant wouldn't grow leaves. It just kept trying to grow new flowers. I had heard allowing it to flower would stunt it's growth, but it seems NOT allowing it to flower was causing a slow down for mine. Plants ...go figure. This was the third time she was trying to flower, so I just let her go. Just showing it in case someone else with one wondered what it would look like.

Just got my #1 dream plant. #PlantMail Meet Antônio, my #Aglaonema 'pictum' Tricolor. This has been my number one dream plant since I started collecting plants. However, it was simply too expensive in Brazil. I finally found a baby specimen on sale, from my usual vendor/consultant, for a pretty reasonable price. The only downside is I will have to wait a pretty long time until it develops into what we are used to imagining when we think of this plant. The upside is... well, pretty much EVERYTHING else. Couldn't be happier with my baby! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy

Camo is tenacious. It put out a bloom stalk. I read that it could delay growth, and to cut it off. I did. It threw another one out. I guess it just really wants to bloom, so I'm going to leave it this time in the hopes that when the flower dies, it will get back to making some leaves.

What kind of bug is this? Found this bug on my Aglaonema this morning. I don’t see any more anywhere, but I’m not sure what it is. It was moving fast. #PestControl #pestID #Aglaonema #aglaonemapictumtricolor #help #helpneeded
