At age 29, Gunther Kuermayr is an excellent and an astoundingly accomplished composer. He leads us to those enchanted discoveries that can only be found in music. The band is solidly woven. The players manage to execute their indiviudal brilliance while never undermining the overall sound and feel of Gunther's compositions. It takes grea musical conviction and communication skills to achieve this kind of unity. It also quite apparent that saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi isn't just a guest soloist, but a true team player with a perfect understanding of the music.
