      <description>&lt;p&gt;Zizheng Guo has won the Best Poster Award (Research) in the 2026 &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.aspdac.com/aspdac2026/student_forum/&#34; target=&#34;_blank&#34; rel=&#34;noopener&#34;&gt;ACM SIGDA Student Research Forum at ASP-DAC 2026 (SRF@ASP-DAC 2026)&lt;/a&gt;, advised by Prof. Yibo Lin, for his outstanding work on Empowering Chip Design Optimization and Verification with CPU-GPU Heterogeneous Computing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Student Research Forum at the ASP-DAC is a traditional poster session hosted by ACM SIGDA for PhD students to present and discuss their dissertations with experts in the design automation community. Starting from 2015, the forum has included both PhD and MS students, offering a great opportunity for the students to establish contacts for their future careers. In addition, the forum helps companies and academic institutes to get an overview of the latest research and discover extraordinary candidates for their employment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This year&amp;rsquo;s SRF is highly competitive, with &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.linkedin.com/posts/zhiyaoxie_eda-aspdac-hk-activity-7420305978094686208-fga1&#34; target=&#34;_blank&#34; rel=&#34;noopener&#34;&gt;3 Best Poster Awards&lt;/a&gt; selected from 29 accepted excellent posters. &lt;p&gt;The CAD Contest at ICCAD is a challenging, multi-month, research and development competition, focusing on advanced, real-world problems in the field of Electronic Design Automation (EDA). It is open to multi-person teams world-wide. Each year the organizing committee announce three challenging problems in different topic areas provided by industrial companies. Contestants can participate in one or more problems. The prizes will be awarded at an ICCAD special session dedicated to this contest.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since its inaugural year of 2012, the CAD Contest at ICCAD has been attracting more than a hundred teams per year, fostering productive industry-academia collaborations, and leading to hundreds of publications in top-tier conferences and journals. The contest undoubtedly boosts EDA research and keeps enhancing its impact.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The CADathlon is a challenging, all-day programming competition focusing on practical problems at the forefront of Computer-Aided Design and Electronic Design Automation in particular. The contest emphasizes the knowledge of algorithmic techniques for CAD applications, problem-solving and programming skills, and teamwork.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As the “Olympic games of EDA,” the contest brings together the best and the brightest of the next generation of CAD professionals. It gives academia and the industry a unique perspective on challenging problems and rising stars, and it also helps attract top graduate students to the EDA field.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CADathlon competition consists of six problems in the following areas:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Circuit Design &amp;amp; Analysis&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Physical Design &amp;amp; Design for Manufacturability&lt;/li&gt;
