One of the primary maintainers of the Vue.js core project since version 2.6, during which time the `vue` npm package's weekly downloads grew 10 fold, from ~0.4 million to ~5.5 million, and became the 2nd most popular front-end framework.

Maintained the official build tools for Vue.js development, including Vite/Webpack/Babel plugins and Vue CLI, the all-in-one tooling solution before the Vite era.

Created and maintained the Ecosystem CI for Vue 3 and the regression-testing utilities for Vue 2, actively monitoring the ecosystem impact of every new Vue.js release. Helped many ecosystem projects adapt to the latest versions along the way.

Contributed to multiple upstream projects, including webpack, Babel, pnpm, and many more. Became a pnpm collaborator and a Vite team member.

Curator of best practices for Vue.js tooling. Created and maintained create-vue, the official scaffolder for Vue.js, along with its baseline TypeScript & ESLint configurations. Participated in the efforts of integrating Vue.js into third party development tools such as Jest, Cypress, etc.

Participated in web standard discussions that matter to the Vue.js project.

Helped shape a few key technical decisions in the Vite 2.x/3.x era by providing my insights from years of working in the front-end tooling field.

Tackled blockers to ensure smooth new releases.

Triaged every single issue in the Vite repo at one point, familiar with the quirks in Vite and their workarounds.

2015 — 2018
Hangzhou

Maintained an internal low-code marketing page design tool for 1688.com (China's largest B2B online market), publishing thousands of marketing pages annually. The tech stack included Node.js (Egg.js), jQuery, React.js, and Vue.js.

Significantly contributed to the refactoring the product submission form and management page of 1688.com from jQuery to React.js. The former is one of the most complex forms on the website.

Maintained the product detail pages on 1688.com (jQuery on desktop, Zepto.js + Vue.js on mobile) during 2015-2017.

2014 — 2015
Hangzhou

Worked on an internal ERP system frontend from scratch, using AngularJS 1.x + gulp.js.
